Welcome to the Ayr College recruitment microsite. We have created this site to give prospective employees a flavour of our organisation, our values and aims, our priorities and our goals. I hope you find much here to interest you and that you will consider becoming part of our team.

At Ayr College we welcome challenge and change. We work closely with our partners to better understand the environment in which we operate, increasing our responsiveness to the demands of our customers, the learners.

The Ayr College team comprises both teaching and support staff, each committed to collectively enhancing the learner experience to achieve a level of excellence in an environment relevant to the industries we serve.

Although much progress has been made towards achieving our strategic goals, there is much still to be done. In 2011 we will be opening a new aeronautical engineering facility in which we will be delivering programmes to degree-level (in partnership with the University of the West of Scotland) to support the needs of the still expanding aerospace industries in Ayrshire. This is just one of a series of planned developments that we believe will continue to put Ayr College on the map.

Ayr College and the surrounding area has much to offer, an enviable mix of friendly communities, beautiful coastal scenery, excellent restaurants and close proximity to major urban centres such as Glasgow. All in all, Ayr is a great place to live and work.
